This is one of my favourite mixes for long distance running, if not all time. Chilly, tempered progressive house is paired with Depeche Mode inspired vocals to wake up the legs (and inner 80's child) to start your cold, rainy morning run. These subdued tones yield to warmer notes of surprise, surprise: electro breaks, to get you to stick out the last couple of K's.

Alright my small yet dedicate pool of electro fans. We're shifting in reverse, and heading back to the mixes from 2006 inspired by trips abroad to Spain. This mix is an uplifting, warm and breaky collection of Baila-funk inspired tunes when the modern trend of electro house was just forming, emerging out of breaks and house.

This session is a study on remixing. Think of it as the opposing forces of ying and yang... or not. The first disc is hard, gritty electro house. (Sorry Ben!) If you're not in an ass kicking mood, don't listen to it. The second disc will feature the same songs, but each track is remixed to a different genre. Stay tuned.

The second of a 2 part series to showcase the fun and eclectic vibe of Barcelona's mini discotheques; ala 'Moog,' et al. this mix was purpose made for the city 2 surf 14k fun run in Sydney. Uplifting and carefree, it's my new favorite to pound pavement to. Features the epic PATT from Deep Dish, timed just right to surface exactly during the "heartbreak hill" portion of the race. Funky electro house gives way to a Latin, De La Gaurda-esque dream sequence to serve as a cool down. Happy running.
